- Prepare treatment plans for patients who might require hospital inpatient care or referral to emergency departments, intensive care units, or critical care units.
- Assess the diagnosis and treatment of patients who could present with any number of conditions, including maternity, psychological, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory or neurological.
- Incorporate emergency plans into practice, including written protocols and necessary equipment/tools for treatment.

To obtain CME credit, view the presentations and complete the post-test and evaluation online for each session before August 24, 2018. Term of approval begins August 25, 2015. Term of approval is for three years from this date. AAFP Members AAFP members are eligible to receive AAFP Prescribed credits and AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Nonmembers Nonmember physicians are eligible to receive the AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ on completion of the online post-test and evaluation. Nonmember physicians are responsible for reporting their own Category 1 CME credits when applying for the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award or other certificates or credentials. Healthcare professionals who are not physicians are eligible to receive CME credits on completion of the online post-test and evaluation. These individuals are responsible for reporting the CME credits to their professional organizations.
